font size

British Deputy Prime Minister and First Secretary of State John Prescott left here for Hong Kong, winding up his five-day official visit to China.

During his stay in Beijing, China's top legislator Wu Bangguo and Vice Premier Huang Ju held meetings and talks with him, and Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan held a discussion with him on establishing task forces on bilateral relations.

This is Prescott's seventh visit to China. Besides Beijing, he also visited Shenyang and Dalian in northeast China's Liaoning Province.
