font size

China is willing to work with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to push forward their party exchanges, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said Monday.

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks when meeting with Song Young Sul, deputy head of the research institute of the party history of Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Wang spoke positively of the current Sino-DPRK relations, noting that China is ready to make joint efforts with DPRK to make the friendly party exchanges more effective and diversified.

Song said he was impressed by the traditional friendship between the two parties, two countries as well as the two peoples.

DPRK will continuously contribute to enhancing and consolidating its friendly cooperative ties with China, he said.

Wang also briefed the guests on CPC's measures to reinforce governance capability and the newly-concluded China's Central Economic Work Conference. Song is heading a good-will delegation of WPK to visit China.
