E-business develops steadily in China
font size

The Ministry of Commerce Monday released China E-business Report in Beijing. The report believes that China's e-business is developing steadily, a trend manifested by the strong development of network infrastructure, remarkable achievements in government's effort to boost e-business and large enterprises' becoming a leading force in the development of e-business etc.

The report also points out that the main obstacles facing China's e-business in its development are the faultiness of market credit system and legal environment, enterprises' inadequate awareness to apply it, traditional mindset and shortage of talents.

As learned this is the first report on e-business development compiled by a governmental department. Based on a great amount of facts and in the light of the status and characteristics of the e-business development in 2003, the report not only points out on the macro level the development trend of China's e-business and emphases of the promotion policy by the government, but also analyzes the current information application level in enterprises starting with corporate surveys.
