Doctors help prevent epidemic in landslide-hit Nayong

In order to prevent large-scale epidemic in the area, health departments of different levels in Guizhou Province dispatched nearly 100 doctors to the site of the landslide and the settlement of victims. The doctors handed out over 1,000 epidemic prevention brochures to victims, and examined their drinking water and food as well as sterilized their residence.

The death toll from last Friday's landslide rose to 39 by press time. According to the experts on the scene, the chance of survival for 5 people still missing is narrow. However, rescuers are still trying their best to hunt for them.
