Chinese premier returns to Beijing

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao returned to Beijing Friday after attending the Seventh China-EU Leaders' Meeting in Hague and the official visit to the Netherlands.

During the meeting, Wen met with Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende, whose country holds the rotating European Union (EU) presidency, European Commission (EC) President Jose Manuel Barroso, and Javier Solana, secretary general of the Council of the EU and representative for the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy.

Wen's entourage included Minister of Foreign Affairs Li Zhaoxing, Minister of Science and Technology Xu Guanhua, Minister of Agriculture Du Qinglin and Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai.
