Ling'ao nuclear power plant fulfils generating task ahead of schedule
font size

Up to 4:46 am, December 3, the two generating sets for the first-stage construction of Ling'ao Nuclear Plant in Guangdong's Dayawan nuclear base completed its whole-year 13.2 billion kwh generating plan ahead of schedule.

The first-stage project possesses two sets of million kw-level PWR nuclear generating sets, which were put into commercial operation in January 2003. As newly installed equipment, the two generating sets went through a breaking in period. They have been running normally and safely under careful management and operation of the working staff. By December 9, the two sets have altogether generated 31.4 billion kwh electricity and contributed to easing the power shortage in south China's Guangdong area.
