Both candidates claim victory in Romanian presidential runoff

Exit polls showed an even match in Romania's presidential runoff Sunday between Prime Minister Adrian Nastase and Bucharest Mayor Traian Basescu.

One poll gave each candidate 50 percent.

But another, gave Nastase 50.7 percent to Basescu's 49.3 percent.

Both candidates claimed victory.
