Free plastic surgery for justice volunteer
font size

Citizens who volunteer to risk their lives for others and end up with their bodies disfigured may get free treatment as the provincial foundation for justice and courage has signed a cooperation agreement with a cosmetic hospital.

Guangzhou Meibo Cosmetic Hospital offers eight free plastic surgeries for those who do the justice and get disfigured. The hospital will repair the scars on their faces and bodies. The hospital also has a long-term discount for people beyond their initial eight operations.

"Burn scars may happen half a year or a year later after the accident, which needs a reparatory treatment for the courageous volunteers," the hospital spokesman said.

The program is targeted at public police, fire police and ordinary citizens who were left with scars because of courageous actions.
