Poll shows Abbas to get most votes

Palestinian mainstream Fatah's candidate Mahmoud Abbas will gain 61.8 percent of votes in all the Palestinian governorates, a Palestinian public opinion poll for the expected presidential elections showed on December 18.

The poll, conducted by information general institution, showed Abbas has got most votes of the explorer audience while Mustafa Barghouti got 14.9 percent of the same category.

The poll also showed that 16.7 percent of the audience in the Gaza Strip, West Bank and Jerusalem didn't identify whom they will choose.

The poll covered 2,643 people who are over 18 years old, with 937 in the Gaza Strip and 1,706 in the West bank and Eastern Jerusalem.
