Kuwait was the first leg of the tour, where the Palestinian leaders met Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaberal-Sabah during a three-day visit to the country.

The delegation also visited Saudi Arabia, where they held talks with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, before they proceeded to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
