Hotline helps punish over 700 corrupt officials
font size

Till the middle of last November, organization departments of various levels have dealt with 469 cases on official selection and appointment with the assistance of people's reports through the "12380" hotline. 705 officials were given organizational or disciplinary punishment.

In order to give full play to the supervising role of the masses in the selection and appointment of officials, and strictly punish the irregularities and corruption in personnel work, the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee opened at the end of last March the special "12380" report hotline for the organization departments throughout the nation.
