The symbolic project of the Three Gorges electricity transmission and transformation construction - the Three Gorges-Guandong��500kv. DC Power Transmission Project has passed the expert review organized by the National Development and Reform Commission. The expert committee gave full recognition of the project undertaken by the State Grid Corporation of China (SG) and the contribution made by units such as the SG.

Since last February when the project was put to production it has operated smoothly with the usability rate reaching 98.5 percent. By November 30 it has transmitted electricity of 10.53 billion kilowatt-hours to Guangdong accomplishing 129 percent of the annual plan.
