Chinese FM meets ROK presidential envoy

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met in Beijing Tuesday with Chung Dong-young, presidential special envoy and permanent chairman of the National Security Council of the Republic of Korea (ROK).

The two conferred on issues of common concern, including Sino-ROK relations and the current situation on the Korean peninsula.

Chung Dong-young, also Minister of Unification of the ROK, is on a three-day visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
