Senior party official meets Mongolian party leader

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Tuesday with S. Oyun,chairman of the Citizens Will-Republican Party of Mongolia and vice-chairman of Great Hural.

Wang welcomed Oyun on his first visit to China since the CPC and the Citizens Will-Republican Party of Mongolia established official relations in September this year. He said the CPC will develop friendly relations with the Citizens Will-Republican Party and work together to promote the Sino-Mongolian relations.

Wang also briefed Oyun on the principles and positions of the Chinese government on the issues of Taiwan and Tibet.

Oyun said the Citizens Will-Republican Party fully understands and respects China's principles and positions on the Taiwan and Tibet issues, and the party will cooperate with the CPC in developing the friendly and mutual beneficial relations between the two countries.
