Pakistan, Russia to boost cooperation

Pakistan and Russia are to boostthe ties in anti-terror, nuclear non-proliferation and other bilateral cooperation, a statement from Pakistan's foreign office said here on Tuesday.

At the conclusion of a two-day meeting between delegations fromboth foreign offices, the two sides expressed satisfaction over "the positive development" of their bilateral relations, said the statement.

The two sides, headed by Tariq Osman Hyder, additional secretary of Pakistan's foreign office and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Kislyak respectively, exchanged views on a number of issues, according to the statement.

It said the two sides also agreed to enhance interaction between the two foreign ministries.
