font size

Chinese President Hu Jintao said in Beijing on December 26 that China is ready to join efforts with Kazakhstan to develop the good-neighborly, friendly and mutually beneficial relationship of cooperation between the two countries in a faster and better way.

Hu made the remarks during his meeting with N. Abykaev, chairman of the Kazakhstan Senate, in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing Sunday afternoon.

Both sides made positive comments on the important fruits that the two countries achieved in developing bilateral relations, as well as on the friendly exchanges between China's National People's Congress (NPC), the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the Kazakhstan parliament.

They expressed the willingness to further expand bilateral exchanges and practical cooperation in all fields so as to bring benefits to the two countries and the two peoples.

Abykaev started his China tour on Wednesday.
