Various main business indexes of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd have recorded the average annual increase of 65 per cent, and maintained top for three consecutive years in China's heavy-duty truck industry after three years of its regrouping and reforms.
With the four strategies of "technology, low cost and regionalization in the lead plus internationalization", China National Heavy-Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd followed the principle of innovation and development, wining market with various products. It is estimated that the total sales volume of heavy-duty trucks will reach 45,000 this year, and the production and sales volume of Steye engines will top 15,500, achieving a sales income of 22.6 billion yuan with main indexes almost doubling from last year's numbers.
As growth for the market of heavy-duty trucks kept decreasing, the market share of heavy-duty truck group in China was on the increase, up from 4.5 per cent in 2001 to the present 13 per cent. Particularly, China's heavy-duty truck group has the absolute advantage in the market of large-ton trucks. China Heavy-duty Trucks Group Co., Ltd accounted for 35 per cent of the national total sales in the heavy-duty market with 15 tons and above; 60 per cent, 20 tons and above; and 80 per cent for 25 tons and above. The sales volume of the new product, Steye King with the independent intellectual property, was four times more than that of last year.
