PLA arranges prompt delivery
font size

The Chinese People's Liberation Army is ensuring prompt collection and delivery of relief supplies.

An officer said all leave has been cancelled and troops are working 24 hours a day. The soldiers are charged with purchasing supplies and encouraging the factories to produce more goods.

The army has taken the religion in the affected countries into account, and designated a halal food supplier for beef and lamb products.
