As reported from China National Oceanic Oil Corporation and China National Petroleum Corporation on January 3, 2005 from Beijing the news says that up to Dec 27, 2004 the annual output of the Bohai Oilfield witnessed an accumulated oil equivalent of 10.063 million cubic meters (including the jointly operated oilfield). This shows that the Bohai Oilfield has stood out the first from among the oceanic oilfields with its annual output to outrun the 10 million cubic meters. Up to the 26 December last year, the Sichuan-Chongqing Oilfield saw an annual output of over 10 billion cubic meters, becoming the first natural gas production base in China with its annual output to overstep the 10 billion cubic meters.
Besides, there are still a group of oilfields which has witnessed their output to have stepped onto a new production phase For instance, the Jilin Oilfield, an old one of over 40 years in exploitation, told an annual crude oil output of 5.009 million tons up to 28 December of last year. Dec 23 of last year saw the Eastern Hebei Oilfield to have an output of 1 million tons of crude oil and the Ansai Oilfield of the Changqing Oilfield, an oilfield of special low permeation and the earliest to have been exploited in the inland reported an annual output of over 2 million tons up to Dec.25 of last year, telling an instructive experience of importance for the exploitation of the special low permeation oilfields with an oil reserve of over 4 billion tons in China.
