Bush agrees to visit DPRK's Kaesong: report

US President George W. Bush accepted a proposal made by South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun to visit an industrial park for South Korean firms in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s border city of Kaesong later this year, reported South Korean national Yonhap News Agency on Tuesday.

Bush agreed to visit Kaesong along with Roh Moo-hyun in November 2005 when the latter made such suggestion during their summit meeting in Santiago, Chile, in November 2004, Roh was quoted by Yonhap as saying in a meeting held at the Presidential Office on Tuesday.

However, asked whether the report is true, Yoon Sock-joong, secretary to the President for Foreign Media at the Presidential Office, told Xinhua he cannot confirm the report immediately.
