China's success in developing FTA
font size

Commerce Ministry officials say China has made great achievements in developing free trade agreements over the past year.

The China-ASEAN free trade area is being established, and China has also started talks with southern African countries, Chile, New Zealand and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.

Experts say a free trade region with these countries will encourage stable, sustainable and rapid development in bilateral economic and trade relations.

At the same time, the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement implemented last year has helped the development of trade between the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao.
