China will expand tax refunds on exports of some high-tech products to promote the development of the industry.
These products include integrated circuits; mobile telecommunication equipment and computers.
Producers will enjoy a full 17 percent export rebate, compared with the previous rate of 13 percent.
In the first 11 months of 2004, those products which enjoyed a 17% tax rebate accounted for half of China's high-tech exports.
