Chinese medical team plays important role in recue

The Chinese doctors treat three badly wounded victims in Banda Aceh, Indonesia on Jan 6th,2005 . The Chinese medical squad's rescue work has lasted seven days there. The Chinese doctors have played a very important role in treating and transferring the wounded victims. So far they have treated more than a hundred seriously wounded.

The 14-member Chinese medical team started relief work here on Jan. 4. The tsunami has caused nearly 150 thousands people dead, among them one third are children, according to United Nations Children's Fund.
