Formula One team Toyota have lifted the covers on their 2005 car, the TF105, at a Barcelona railway station.

The team hope the new machine can give them their most competitive season to date in their short three-year F1 history.

The TF105 is the product of a year-long process in which Toyota has focused on adapting to the new technical regulations put in place by the FIA for the 2005 season.

Toyota said they generally favor the revised technical regulation, which are aimed at further reducing the coasts in Formula One racing, while making the sports even more appalling to fans around the globe.

The world's second largest carmaker, whose team is based in Germany, finished eighth out of 10 last year and have yet to score a podium in 51 starts.
