Senior CPC official underlines party relations with Bolivia
font size

The Communist Party of China (CPC) attaches great importance to the relations with Bolivian major parties, wishing to push forward the healthy development of Sino-Bolivian relations continuously through party-to-party exchanges.

Liu Yunshan, publicity chief of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark here Monday in meeting with a delegation of Bolivian major parties' leaders led by Antonio Peredo, vice president of the Movement for Socialism.

Liu, also member of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat of CPC Central Committee, said both China and Bolivia are developing countries, and enhancing unity and cooperation with other developing countries is the basis of China's foreign relations.

"We are willing to make joint efforts with Bolivia for further and all-round development of bilateral relations on the basis of five principles of peaceful coexistence," he said.

Major parties in Bolivia have consensus on relations with China, said Peredo, expressing hope that the friendly cooperation with the CPC will be further strengthened so as to push forward bilateral relations.
