US secretary of commerce arrives in Beijing

United States (US) Secretary of Commerce Donald Louis Evans arrived in Beijing Tuesday afternoon for a Sino-US roundtable conference on intellectual property rights (IPR) scheduled to be held on Thursday.

Evans is making his current China trip as guest of US ambassador to China Clark T. Randt.

Besides attending the IPR roundtable conference, Evans will also meet Chinese leaders and confer with the relevant Chinese ministries and commission on Sino-US trade and economic relations and other related issues.
