font size

Zoran Sami, speaker of Serbia and Montenegro' Parliament said Wednesday in Beijing that the country will continue to adhere to the one-China policy.

Sami made the remark when meeting Chinese state councilor Tang Jiaxuan. He said Serbia and Montenegro thanked China for its political support to the country's efforts to maintain sovereignty and territory integrity.

Tang said China attaches importance to its friendly cooperation with Serbia and Montenegro and respects the country's choice of development strategy and domestic and foreign policies.

Satisfied with the momentum of bilateral trade, China is willing to push for an all-round development of the relationship. This would include strengthening coordination on international issues to maintain regional and international peace and stability, said the state councilor.
