Zeng Qinghong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, attended a ceremony of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee to issue certificates to a group of recent graduates.
Zeng, who is also Chinese vice president and president of the Party School, was accompanied by senior Party officials He Guoqiang and Wang Gang.
A total of 938 people from the Party School and more than 2,700from its branches graduated from the 2004 Autumn Class. The have focused their studies on the guidelines of the Fourth Session of the Sixteenth CPC Central Committee.
The Party session has adopted a number of important resolutions that call for studying Marxism and improving the governing capacity of the Party under the new situation.
