China will host an international fair on semiconductor equipment and materials in Shanghai from March 15-17.
The fair, known as SEMICON China and with a history of 16 years, will have 1,300 business booths. Up to now, corporations from Germany, Britain and the Republic of Korea (ROK) have applied for attending the fair, said information from China Chamber of Commerce of Electronic Products, one of the sponsors for the fair.
A range of activities, including symposiums on topics such as semiconductor testing, packaging, manufacturing, integrated circuit (IC) designs, relevant safety standards, and forums on marketing of semiconductor industry will be organized during the fair.
