Two officials elected as leaders of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region

Wu Dunfu and Xiong Huiyin were added to the list of vice-chairpersons of the regional Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on January 16.

Wu Dunfu, born in 1945 in central China's Henan Province, graduated from Tianjin University in 1968 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1980.

Xiong Huiyin, born in 1945 in central China's Hubei Province, graduated from Xinjiang University in 1969 and joined the CPC in 1979.

They both have rich working experiences in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region after their graduation from universities.
