Senior CPC official stresses curbing source of corruption

A senior official with the Communist Party of China (CPC) urged more efforts to on curb the source of corruption.

Wu Guanzheng, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection made the remarks in an earlier special speech promoting a new outline for the implementation of an anti-corruption mechanism by CPC Central committee.

"Generally speaking, time is mature and conditions are ready for establishing such a mechanism that stresses education, supervision, punishment and prevention," he said.
