Chinese bank issues commemorative coins for 2006 World Cup

The People's Bank of China on Tuesday issued sets of commemorative coins for the 2006 World Cup soccer tournament in Germany.

The coins, three in each set, are all Chinese legal tender manufactured by the Shanghai Mint.

The three coins in every set, including one struck from gold and the other two, silver, each has the colorful World Cup logo on its obverse and characters In Commemoration for 2006 Germany World Cup in both Chinese and English on its reverso.
