Former Cambodian king arrives in Beijing for routine physical check-up

Former Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk and his wife Norodom Monineath Sihanouk arrived here Monday from Phnom Penh for routine physical examination and healthrehabilitation.

They were greeted at the airport by Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Shen Guofang and Cambodian Ambassador to China Khek Lerang.

Norodom Sihanouk was enthroned as the King of the Kingdom of Cambodia in 1993 and was succeeded by his son Norodom Sihamoni in 2004.
