Chinese state councilor to visit Russia, FM

Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan will pay an official visit to Russia from Feb. 1 to Feb. 4, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan said on Thursday.

Tang will discuss bilateral ties and key issues of both concern with the Russian side, Kong told a regular press conference.

Tang was to make the visit as guest of Igor Sergeyevich Ivanov, secretary of the Russian Security Council.
