China holds painting exhibition in Syria

Chinese Ambassador to Syria Zhou Xiuhua (L1), Syrian Deputy Cultural Minister Riyad (L2) and Chinese painter Dong Chensheng (R1) participate in the ribbon-cut ceremony of the painting exhibition of Dong Chensheng in Syria's capital Damascus, Jan. 26, 2005. Over 30 Chinese paintings with contents covering Chinese ethnical minority, Chinese opera figures, landscape and animals were shown to public here on Wednesday and will be on display till Jan. 31, 2005.
