Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan is expected to take part in a soccer match for 10 minutes in Istanbul, the largest city of Turkey, next month to raise funds for the victims of the Tsunami-hit Asian counties.

Erdogan will play in the Super League Mix, against the Foreigners League in the Inonu Stadium on February 22.

Erdogan played soccer in the team of the Istanbul Municipality between 1971 and 1981.

He was offered to join the famous Fenerbance team of Istanbul but his father did not allow him.
