He appealed for international aid to developing countries and debt relief for poor nations during his speech here on Thursday. The 5th WSF with the theme of anti-globalization was kicked off Wednesday evening in Porto Alegre. About 78,000 representatives from 120 countries and 6,000 journalists had enrolled to take part in the 6-day forum.
