Chinese president extends new year greetings to veterans in Beijing

Chinese President Hu Jintao extended in Beijing on January 28 new year greetings to the veterans in Beijing-stationed armies after a performance held by the CPC Central Military Commission to celebrate the upcoming China's lunar new year, the Spring Festival.

Hu, also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission, and other leaders of the military commission joined the veterans to see the performance given by military artists.
