The 5th World Social Forum closes
Representatives celebrate the closing day of the 5th World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, south of Brazil, 31 January 2005. During six days, 150,000 people from 135 countries took part in this Forum, including Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez and other international celebrities. The Forum is one of the largest conventions of civil society and nongovernmental groups held every year.
