Chinese stargazers are expected to see a spectacular astronomical phenomenon Sunday night when Saturn will overlap the moon.
Expert Qi Yue with the Beijing Planetarium said that starting at 7 p.m., stargazers across the country will be able to see Saturn clearly to the south of the moon. People with telescope of five centimeters or more will be able to see Saturn's rings, he said.
On Feb. 27, the moon will overlap Jupiter, and China will also be an ideal place to observe the planet sighting, Qi said.
