    Shanghai stock index rises over 1300-point

    Earthquake hits Iran

    An Iranian woman and man cry after the loss of their home and family in the village of Dahouyeh near Zarand in southeast Iran yesterday.An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale occurred at 05:55 a.m. (0225 GMT) Feb 22, 2005 and the epicenter was located on the outskirts of Zarand. At least 370 people have been killed, the state television reported.
