China and Vanuatu will sign a joint communique and economic and technological agreements during Vanuatuan Prime Minister Ham Lini's visit, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Kong Quan in Beijing Thursday.
During Lini's stay in Beijing, Chinese President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao and other senior officials will meet with him. Both sides will sign a joint communique and economic and technological agreements, said Kong at a regular briefing.
Meanwhile, Lini may meet with officials of relative departments to discuss specific issues, he added.
Vanuatuan Prime Minister Ham Lini arrived here Thursday for an official visit to China from Feb. 24 to March 4 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
Lini will also visit Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, and Haikou and Sanya, two scenic cities in south China's island province of Hainan.
