    Shadow play in need of protection

Shadow play is a kind of folk art with a history of 600 years in China. In the play, folk artists operate props made of donkey hide or paper board behind a white transparent curtain. But with the modernization of China, many folk art, including shadow play, face a menace of disappearance, many Chinese intellectuals called on the government to take measures to protect those folk art.

    Car bomb kills over 100 in Iraq

    Local people gathered at an explosion site outside a medical center in downtown of Hilla, some 100 km south of Baghdad Feb 28, 205. A suicide car bomber killed at least 106 people and injured at least 200 in the city. This is the deadliest attack in Iraq in 2005.

    Tianjin Tongrentang becomes new owner of Goubuli
