China resumes live sheep and cattle export to Mideast in 2004

China exported 147,000 live sheep and 6,000 live cattle to Jordan last year in form of animal trade to Middle East region, according to a report released by the state quality watchdog at a press conference Tuesday.

The trade was resumed last September after eight years of suspension, said the report from the State Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine.
