The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Iran's official news agency, launched a website about China in Beijing Wednesday.

The website is expected to contribute to better understanding, exchanges and cooperation between China and Iran, said Iranian Ambassador to China Ferydoun Verdi Nejad at the launching ceremony.

The website, with various news columns, will offer latest development of China-Iran cooperation and exchanges. It also provides relevant background introduction about China and Iran so as to serve the traveling personnels and bilateral cooperation.
