US to play World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica

The United States will play its World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica on June 4 at Salt Lake City's Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The match will be a part of a doubleheader with a Major League Soccer game between FC Dallas and the expansion club Real Salt Lake.

The Americans opened the final round of qualifying on Feb. 9 with a 2-1 win at Trinidad and Tobago and play their next qualifier at Mexico on March 27.

They meet Honduras three days later at Birmingham, Alabama.
