China develops anti-HIV medicines
font size

China has so far developed and produced five types of anti-HIV medicine, four of which are produced by the Northeast General Pharmaceutical Factory (NGPF) and the fifth by another pharmaceutical factory in Shanghai.

These five types of anti-HIV medicine can now basically meet the domestic demand for anti-HIV medication, said Zhou Kai, vice president of NGPF. The four medicines produced by NGPF can be grouped into two different combinations to create what is known as Anti-HIV Cocktail Remedy. And the nation's five anti-HIV medicines can produce even more varieties of Cocktail Remedies.
