The Hong Kong Flower Show 2005 will be held at Victoria Park from March 11 to 20.

The show will feature azalea as its theme flower and "Whisper of Spring" as its theme. About 60 species of azalea will be displayed, including indigenous species in Hong Kong.

The flower show will also showcase exotic flowers, landscape and floral art displays presented by 175 organizations from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and overseas.

More than 300,000 flowers will be on display, including azalea, pansy, petunia, tulip, carnivorous plants, indoor and outdoor plants.

Fringe activities including music and dance performances, floral art demonstrations, workshops and fun games will be organized during the 10-day show.
