The 12th China advertising festival will be held in October in Xi'an, home of the famous terra-cotta army of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221 B.C.-206 B.C.).

It will be the first time for the advertising gala to be staged in a northwest Chinese city.

Organizers said the festival would be "prepared and carried out strictly in accordance with the rules of the market" and would be "one of the most successful."
