Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing will pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Luxemburg, Italy, Albania, and the European Union Headquarters, and co-preside with the Italian Foreign Minister the first Joint Meeting of the China-Italy Governmental Committee.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan made the announcement Thursday at a regular press conference.
Li is invited by Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanic, Foreign Minister of Luxemburg Jean Asselborn, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Gianfranco Fini, Albanian Foreign Minister Kastriot Islami, Secretary General of the Council of European Union and EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana and EU Commissioner for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Kong said.
During his visit to Brussels, Li will also meet with the Belgian leaders, he said.
